Miriam is excellent! I approached her at a point when I felt my body was changing after 40 - leaving me low on confidence, a change of style in the workspace between working at home and from the office, and with a feeling of having nothing to wear despite a full wardrobe. She listened to my wants and needs and understood my style intuitively. She created new outfits for both work and play from clothes I already own, with combinations that I would never have thought off. Miriam is honest and empathetic, which helped to let go of things in the wardrobe that where not so great, but also found clothes that just needed small alterations and now work great. Decluttering the wardrobe was the biggest positive change for me, reducing overwhelm and making getting dressed so much easier. She helped me to rethink my whole approach to owning clothes, suggesting only a couple of essential additions and emphasising that I had everything I needed. Gestern Abend habe ich mir das erste Mal voller Vorfreude ein Outfit für heute herausgelegt. Ich habe es dann heute Morgen angezogen und gedacht, irgendwas ist nicht ganz richtig. Ich habe so viel Liebe zum Detail, Formen und Farben bei Miriam gelernt, dass ich das allererste Mal an diesem Punkt nicht aufgegeben habe, sondern zu einem anderen T-Shirt gegriffen, der Ausschnitt war falsch, zu einer anderen Hose, die Form war in der Kombi mit dem Blazer nicht ganz richtig und die Accessoires ein paar mal verändert habe, damit es so im Spiegel aussieht, wie es in meinem Kopf aussieht. Genau das war meine Anforderung, als ich das erste Mal mit Miriam gesprochen habe. Ich hatte schon einen ganz ordentlich und auch durchaus schön gefüllten Kleiderschrank und viele wunderschöne Accessoires, aber es sah einfach im Spiegel nie so aus, wie ich mir das vorgestellt hatte. Miriam kam zu mir und hat mir komplett entspannt und emphatisch beigebracht, wie ich meine Figur am besten kleide und welche Farben mir stehen. Wir haben zwar viele Fotos gemacht, aber daran orientiere ich mich jetzt gar nicht so. Das wundervolle ist, sie hat mir ohne viele Worte, einfach mit einer unglaublichen Liebe zum Detail vorgemacht, wie Kleinigkeiten wie eine falsche Kragen/Hosenform ein Outfit komplett verändern und das bringt mir mehr, als die vielen schönen Bilder, die wir gemacht haben. Ich habe in nur 3 Stunden mit ihr eine Fähigkeit erlernt, die ich nun immer anwenden kann, unbezahlbar! Das muss man erst mal hinkriegen - Miriam, ich danke Dir!

I’m not the type of person who you’d typically imagine would seek out a personal stylist. 30-something working Mama – time poor and happy if I manage to get to the office in an outfit that doesn’t have a penguin sticker, toothpaste or sticky fingerprints on it – legacy of my “morning commute”. Not only am I thrilled with my new wardrobe, I had so much fun shopping with Miriam, she's an absolute delight. I came in feeling like I never learned to dress like a grown up, and came out with a wardrobe that I love and looks like who I feel I am.
